This is a wonderful rosebowl with metal stand was made by the Fenton Art Glass Company. This rose bowl is made of aubergine opalescent glass which is blown in a rib optic mould. Fenton has gone and found metal fixtures to go with the bowl. These stands and glass items are reminiscent of the victorian era. The metal stand has intricate cut through work on it, with birds on the top edges of the side pieces. This item is free of any chips or cracks. the bowl and stand measures 7 1/4" tall, 4 1/4" across, and 4 3/4" tall. |
